Dried carrots are a sweet and crunchy vegetable snack.

They provide large amounts of beta-carotene, or provitamin A, and are also rich in vitamins B1, B2, PP, K and C. They also provide important minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, copper and zinc. Carrots are a source of dietary fibre, which helps maintain proper intestinal peristalsis and maintain proper bacterial microflora. Eating carrots also improves skin condition and has a cleansing effect on the body. They can be given on their own, added to basic feed or mixed with hay.

Supplementary feed material. Composition: dried carrots. Analytical components: crude protein (Kjeldahl method) min. 9.0%, crude fat min. 2.4%, crude fibre max. 13.6%, crude ash max. 9.2%, moisture max. 12%. Feeding recommendations: as a delicacy supplementing basic feed.

Serve as a treat to diversify the basic diet. Can be given separately or mixed with hay.
